Brought to life by Oklahoma death doula Sara Kovash, this guide exists because we all share one truth: we’re all going to die. That’s not morbid or profound — it’s simply real. Planning for a good death is an act of love, not fear.

The anxiety we feel around our own death and those we love is really just an expression of love — the love we feel for our own lives and the love we feel for the people who are important to us. Through open discussion, gentle education, and compassionate local resources, we can replace fear with understanding.

Most of us don’t know what we don’t know — until we do. And when we know better, we can do better: for ourselves, for our families, and for those who will one day grieve us.
